What is a multifunctional drinking tap?
A drinking tap is an additional tap placed alongside your existing kitchen faucet that instantly delivers filtered and chilled water — still, sparkling, or hot. It’s a smart alternative to bottled water, whether at home, in the office, at school, or in other public spaces. Thanks to built-in filtration systems and a cooler or boiler, you always enjoy pure water at the perfect temperature.
A drinking tap to suit every interior
Opt for the convenience of a combination tap, the premium experience of a separate drinking water tap, or make a bold design statement with a unique, freestanding drinking water column. Choose your preferred water types and finish your setup with a matching drip tray or a stylish bottle and glass holder.
With our AQUALEX taps, we create unique water corners and breakfast niches. Crafted from durable, high-quality materials, our solutions add true value to any kitchen or living space.

Add a drinking tap as a second tap
Looking to add extra comfort to your kitchen or coffee corner? Opt for a multifunctional drinking tap as a second tap next to your existing kitchen faucet. It provides your household or workplace with chilled, sparkling, or hot water — straight from the tap. Ideal for offices, meeting rooms, or home use, and a smart way to reduce plastic bottle waste.
Installing a second tap is, of course, slightly more complex than replacing your current faucet, as it requires drilling an additional tap hole. But no worries — AQUALEX handles the entire installation process, including cutting and grinding work. There’s no need to hire a plumber or stone cutter. Our skilled technicians, many of whom previously worked in a marble workshop, are experts in precision stone cutting.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about AQUALEX Drinking Water Taps
How do I install a second drinking tap next to my existing kitchen faucet?
Installing a second tap is naturally a bit more complex than simply replacing your current faucet, as an additional tap hole needs to be made. However, you don’t need to hire a plumber or stone cutter for this. AQUALEX handles the entire installation process, including cutting and grinding. Our skilled technicians, many of whom have experience working in marble workshops, specialize in precision stone cutting.
How much does it cost to have a multifunctional drinking tap installed?
Good news! Installing an AQUALEX drinking tap is completely free of charge. We take care of the entire installation for you.
How do I choose the right water unit for my multifunctional drinking tap?
Besides the tap hole, you also need space for the water unit — the device that filters, chills, carbonates, and heats the water. The size of this unit depends on the options you want. For a standard water unit, expect a width of around 60 cm, roughly the size of a double sliding waste bin in your kitchen cabinet.
Don’t have enough space under your sink? No problem. The unit can be placed remotely, tucked away in an unused corner of your kitchen cabinets, or even further away in the basement or another room adjacent to the kitchen. A specially insulated pipe (Python pipe) connects the water unit directly to your drinking tap.
