How often should the water filter be replaced?
Your drinking water filter removes harmful substances, chlorine, dirt, and unwanted odors, ensuring that fresh, pure taste in your water. Over time, the filter becomes saturated and its effectiveness decreases. That’s why we routinely replace the filter during annual maintenance, ensuring your water always remains optimally filtered and delicious.
Does the drinking water filter remove limescale from the water?
Our drinking water filters do not remove limescale. Limescale consists of minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which are important for your health. That’s why we retain these natural components in your drinking water. Only in systems with a boiler for hot water do we apply partial water softening to prevent limescale buildup and extend the life of the device. This ensures an optimal balance between taste, health, and sustainability.
Are the water filters reusable?
No, filters are always replaced. There are several reasons for this:
First, we want to guarantee the quality of our premium water. It is therefore important to replace filters on time and not reuse them.
Second, it is currently not technically possible to clean the filters. However, we ensure that used filters are properly recycled so that the materials can be reused for other applications.
Is replacing a water filter difficult?
No, it is not difficult. Keep in mind, however, that AQUALEX always performs system maintenance itself to ensure water quality. Maintenance involves more than just replacing the filter.
