Sustainable hydration in nature: ALASQ at Natuurloop Mishagen

In the heart of nature, between the forests of Brasschaat and Kapellen, a brand-new permanent running trail has opened: Natuurloop Mishagen. This route winds through three beautiful natural areas in the Antwerp Kempen and offers runners of all levels a unique outdoor experience. And thanks to a new drinking water system, athletes can now recharge not only with fresh air but also with clean, local, and sustainable water.

Water as a natural ally

At the official opening of Natuurloop Mishagen, a new drinking water system was unveiled, the result of a collaboration between Pidpa, the municipality of Brasschaat, and AQUALEX.

The ALASQ is strategically placed at the Mishagen sports park, the starting point of the three trail loops. Walkers, runners, and active families can quench their thirst at any time with healthy tap water, straight from the source. No plastic bottles, no transport, no waste, just water, as it should be.

“This drinking water fountain not only symbolizes the strong cooperation between Pidpa and the municipality of Brasschaat, but also highlights our daily commitment to providing everyone with healthy, tasty, and affordable tap water,” says Christophe Poels, Sales & Marketing Director at Pidpa.
