How do I clean an AQUALEX tap?

For optimal cleaning and protection of your tap, it is best to use the AQUALEX Faucet Treatment. This unique 3-in-1 formula cleans the surface, enhances the color, and protects the coating of your tap — all in a single treatment.

The treatment is suitable for all AQUALEX coatings: BRONZE-X, PVD-X, Powder Coating, PVD, Metallic, Stainless Steel, and Chrome.

Usage

1. Apply a small amount of the product to a clean AQUALEX microfiber cloth.
2. Carefully rub the entire tap neck, control knob, and hand spray.
3. Let the product work for 10 seconds.
4. Wipe off any excess product with a second clean AQUALEX microfiber cloth.
5. Let your tap shine again!

Contents of the set

• 1 x Faucet Treatment (100 ml) – enough for over 50 maintenance treatments
• 2 x premium microfiber cloths
• Packaged in a sustainable cotton pouch (recycled cotton)

Remove the tap point from the faucet and soak it in a small dish with Eres Citro Descaler until the limescale is gone. Then rinse the tap point thoroughly and screw it back onto the faucet.

• Both products contain citric acid. Avoid splashing on marble and all other limescale-containing natural stone surfaces.
• The use of hydrochloric acid, acetic acid (vinegar), chlorine, or phosphoric acid is prohibited.

Finally: it is very important to remove limescale regularly. Limescale is very aggressive and will irreversibly damage the surface. The best way to combat it is with the aforementioned Eres products, which are available at your local supermarket.
